Where trans fat still hides

The Food and Drug Administration is still considering whether to get partially hydrogenated oil, the top source of trans fats in the American diet, out of the food supply. But even if the FDA takes that step, and does it soon, it will be a while before food manufacturers will be required to take these unhealthy fats out of their prodcuts. And while many makers of baked goods, bread spreads, microwave popcorn, and other foods have already reformulated their products to eliminate partially hydrogenated oils, plenty others have not.
