Facebook today announced a number of changes to its News Feed, the continually updating stream of stories that appears on subscribers' home pages. " We've completely rebuilt each story to be much more vibrant and colorful and highlight the content that your friends are sharing," the company said in a press release.
One major revamp is the addition of multiple feeds that will let you filter News Feed content to see just what you're interested in. Some of the new feeds are All Friends, which will show what your friends are posting; Photos, pics from your friends and pages you "like"; and Following, stories from pages and people you follow.
Facebook said it has also made its News Feed experience more unified and consistent across platforms, on both computers and mobile devices.
The changes should start to roll out on the Web on Thursday and to mobile apps within the next few weeks.
